Energy for Palmdale’s Independent Choice (EPIC) prides itself on offering clean and economical energy at affordable rates comparable to Southern California Edison. However, if you would like to opt-out of EPIC and remain with Southern California Edison, you may do so quickly and easily.
Please note: Customers who opt out of EPIC before or within the first 60 days after the start of service with EPIC can return to EPIC service at any time. Customers opting out of EPIC service 60 days after EPIC service starts will be subject to SCE’s terms and conditions of service, including not having the option to return to EPIC for one year.
To opt out, please follow these steps:
- Be sure you are eligible for service at this time. This means you have received an enrollment letter in the mail. If you haven’t yet received an enrollment notice, then we cannot process an opt-out.
- Save a copy of your SCE bill and have it with you. We will need information from the bill to process your opt-out.
