Power Choice CARE
EPIC is proud to offer the Power Choice CARE program, an exclusive opportunity for income-qualified CARE and FERA customers to access solar and battery storage systems with zero upfront costs. Eligible customers can reduce their electricity bills by an estimated 55-65% while contributing to a cleaner energy future. With only a limited number of spots available statewide and funding distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, customers are encouraged to apply promptly to secure their participation in this transformative energy program.
Your Ride is EPIC
EPIC invites customers to participate in the “Your Ride is EPIC” program! Eligible participants have the opportunity to receive a free (or significantly discounted) charger for their electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in electric vehicle (PHEV). Enrolled customers are entitled to one plug-in unit or one wall-mounted unit per household on a first-come, first-served basis until resources are depleted.

Solar Power & Battery Storage
Power Choice Program
EPIC has partnered with Tesla, Inc. to install rooftop solar and Powerwall batteries on residential homes at no upfront cost and no credit underwriting. The Power Choice program is an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of on-site solar and battery back up without taking on the costs of installing and owning the solar system. EPIC will continue to be the power provider and customers will only pay for the energy the system produces along with a monthly battery payment through one monthly bill.

CARE, FERA and Medical Baseline
How to Enroll?
Customers enrolled in EPIC continue to receive their CARE, FERA, and Medical Baseline discount within their Southern California Edison delivery charges; there is no need to reapply with EPIC. New CARE, FERA, and Medical Baseline enrollments or renewals must still be done through SCE’s customer service center or website.

EPIC commercial and industrial customers can now take advantage of solar and battery systems with no up-front cost or credit underwriting through the Power Choice+ program. Qualified EPIC C&I customers will receive design, planning and installation of solar and battery systems through an enhanced power purchase agreement offer.

Power Choice Homebuilders
EPIC is expanding the Power Choice program to home developers in Antelope Valley. With Tesla handling the design, installation and permitting of state-of-the-art solar systems and Powerwall home batteries, there are no up-front costs for developers or home buyers. These systems ensure future-ready electrification and EV charging while providing whole-home energy backup and realistic annual savings without affecting buyer financing.
