Eligible participants have the opportunity to receive a free (or significantly discounted) charger for their electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in electric vehicle (PHEV). Enrolled customers are entitled to one plug-in unit or one wall-mounted unit per household on a first-come, first-served basis until resources are depleted.

Solar Power & Battery Storage
Power Choice Program
EPIC has partnered with Tesla, Inc. to install rooftop solar and Powerwall batteries on residential homes at no upfront cost and no credit underwriting. The Power Choice program is an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of on-site solar and battery back up without taking on the costs of installing and owning the solar system. EPIC will continue to be the power provider and customers will only pay for the energy the system produces along with a monthly battery payment through one monthly bill.

CARE, FERA and Medical Baseline
How to Enroll?
Customers enrolled in EPIC continue to receive their CARE, FERA, and Medical Baseline discount within their Southern California Edison delivery charges; there is no need to reapply with EPIC. New CARE, FERA, and Medical Baseline enrollments or renewals must still be done through SCE’s customer service center or website.
Coming Soon: Olivine ClimateResponse Virtual Power Plant
Optimize Energy. Save the Planet. Generate Revenue. EPIC commercial customers can now earn revenue by reducing their energy consumption when the grid is stressed, or energy prices are high.
CalChoice and Olivine Inc. are offering a new program that allows commercial customers of EPIC an opportunity to join the ClimateResponse® Virtual Power Plant (VPP), designed to help nonresidential customers mitigate the grid impacts of climate change while earning revenue.
Temporarily adjust your energy use during May through October when the grid is under stress, such as during extreme heat days, or energy prices are high, and be rewarded. If you are a large nonresidential customer and are able to adjust your energy consumption, you are now eligible to enroll in Olivine’s ClimateResponse® VPP to help avoid blackouts and make our electric grid resilient. It’s free to join, there are no penalties, and you will always be in control of your buildings and resources.
