Accelerating Green Transportation with the Your Ride is EPIC Program

To encourage the adoption of green transportation in Palmdale, in February 2023, Energy for Palmdale’s Independent Choice (EPIC) initiated the Your Ride is EPIC program. The program offers eligible EPIC customers the opportunity to receive a free (or significantly discounted) plug-in hybrid (PHEV) or electric vehicle (EV) charger. 

City of Palmdale Receives Extraordinary Emission Reduction Award For Its Work With SoCalREN

On September 6, the Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN) hosted its 10-year anniversary celebration. During the event, attended by over 200 public agencies, SoCalREN recognized the City of Palmdale for its commitment to advancing sustainable energy initiatives. The City was the selected recipient of the Extraordinary Emission Reduction Award.

EPIC Offers Online Tool to Help Customers Understand Energy Bill Charges

Energy for Palmdale’s Independent Choice (EPIC) has launched a tool on its website to help customers better understand their monthly energy bills. The interactive tool features a user-friendly design and allows customers to click on different components of their bill to view detailed definitions. Additionally, the tool includes two informational videos available in both English and Spanish. 

EPIC Supports CPUC Program: California Connect

A key program under the CPUC's umbrella is California Connect, which offers telephone communication access for Californians with hearing, vision, cognitive, mobility and speech-related disabilities.
