As an Energy for Palmdale’s Independent Choice (EPIC) customer, you may notice that your energy bill contains charges from both EPIC and Southern California Edison (SCE). This is a normal part of our service structure and does not mean you are being double charged.
Energy for Palmdale’s Independent Choice (EPIC) is the City’s locally-managed community choice aggregation (CCA) program. As an alternative to Southern California Edison (SCE), EPIC procures energy for its customers while SCE continues to handle transmission and distribution.
